Pimpri – Chinchwad – a twin city located in the suburbs of Pune happens to be one the biggest Industrial areas in Asia. Telecommunication Facility and Broadband

Electricity
Two sub-stations, one of 220 KV at Chinchwad and a 400 KV at Bhosari meet the power supply needs of the area.
Water
MIDC has constructed water supply Scheme at Ravet and Chinchwad to provide 144 MLD of water to the area, sourced by river Pawana. The areas total water supply pipe line network is 150 km.
Roads
The area is connected internally by good quality multiple lane roads. Good width roads are available in the MIDC which can cater for Trucks and Containers movements. The total length of the asphalted roads is 80.13 km
Truck Terminus and Bus Stop
A total of 6 plots with an area of 80,000 Sq. Mtrs. have been allotted to different agencies to develop the truck terminus. The truck terminus has been provided with basic utilities for drivers, cleaners, truck operator etc.
Fire Station
A plot for a fire station has already been allocated to the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. At present the fire station, facilities are jointly provided by MIDC as well as the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.
Pollution Norms
All kinds of industries are allowed in Pimpri-Chinchwad Industrial Area. MIDC insist for Zero Discharge to set up any industry
Residential Facilities
A 128-hectare residential and commercial area has been developed by MIDC within the area. Further, Pune city and the Pimpri-Chinchwad areas offer a wide range of quality, affordable housing facilities.
Land Availability & Land Rates
MIDC acquires land from either private entities or government agencies. Development charges are deducted from the compensation paid by the MIDC to the original land holders. Preference is given to barren land on records over irrigated fertile land. Land acquisition for Pimpri-Chinchwad Industrial Estate had happened long back. MIDC had acquired 1,224 hectares (HR) and 12 Arce land in the area. All the acquired land has been handed over to industries and it now houses industrial estates of Chinchwad, Bhosari, etc. Land is available in Pimpri-Chinchwad through resale of MIDC/ Freehold land.
