The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), vide its circular dated 20th April 2026 (Circular No. P271302), has reduced the subletting charges from 3% to 1.5%, providing significant relief to industrial plot holders.
This revision is expected to encourage more formal subletting arrangements and improve compliance within MIDC areas.
ASCC, through its blog dated 12th February 2026, has already outlined the detailed procedure for obtaining MIDC permissions.
