E – Vehicle is the future of mode of transport and a saviour of Environment. Government aims to encourage the Purchase and usage of E- Vehicles by offering incentives. The Government has set up the mission to attract investments for manufacturers to establish electric vehicle production facilities, as well as Advanced Chemistry Cell (ACC) battery manufacturing, electric vehicle spare parts and recycling plants.
Manufacturing of E- Vehicle and its parts is considered as Industrial Activity therefore Industrial Rate is to be considered for allotment of the plot Whereas charging of the E-Vehicle Stations is considered as Commercial Activity. MIDC vide Circular No: B57932 Dated 10th May 2023, has issued the guidelines for allotment of plot for setting up E- Vehicle Charging Station.
