Allotment Of MIDC Plot under Expansion

MIDC Plots were  allotted through online processing of application after publication of advertisement as per MIDC circular dated  13 Sep 2019.  However, keeping in view  the pressing demand of additional land for bigger investment by the applicants  and also cases of plots which are land locked, it was felt necessary by  MIDC to revise the existing guidelines. MIDC has therefore revised the guidelines for preferential allotment of the plots for the expansion of the business vides its Circular No. A93260 dated 11 March 2020. The Salient features of Allotment Of MIDC Plot under Expansion are given in this document:-

  1. FSI Utilisation: The plot holder would be eligible to apply for plot of land for expansion of business under priority category provided that:-

     A. Plot holder has utilised FSI of more than 60% on existing plot or

     B. BCC on plot is less than 60% but more than 40% as the plot holder required more open space for his project.

2. Requirement of Land: Minimum investment needed by the applicant for priority allotment of MIDC land under expansion would be as per the size of the plot and the zone in which the land is demanded. The

  1.  Requirement of new MIDC Plot for expansion is 10,000 Sq. Mtrs or more and investment in proposed Plot should be as follows:

  • Requirement of new MIDC plot for expansion is 5,000 Sq. Mtrs. or more but less than 10,000 Sq. Mtrs. and investment in proposed Plot should be as follows:

2 B 30 Cr.
3 C 20 Cr.
4 D & D+ 10 Cr.
  • Requirement of new MIDC plot for expansion is less than 5,000 Sq. Mtrs. and investment in proposed Plot should be as follows:

2 B 15 Cr.
3 C 10 Cr.
4 D & D+ 5 Cr.

3. The applicant will make online application along with the supporting documents for allotment of MIDC Plot.

4. The earlier applications for which plots were converted to industrial in MMC prior to 13 Sep 2019 on the request of plot holder, but kept pending, would be considered on the above lines.

5. If the requested plot is land locked and cannot be allotted to any other person other than the applicant,  the application for such plot of land would be considered even if the investment is less than what is stated above. However, in such cases a status report of Executive Engineer / Dy. Engineer / Surveyor should be obtained stating that the said MIDC plot is land locked and cannot be allotted to any other person.

6. Cases deferred by Land Allotment Committee prior to 13 Sep 2019 due to non receipt of consent of NGT/MPCB would also be considered on the above lines.

7. Approval of CEO should be obtained internally before putting up the same to Land Allotment Committee.
