AreaChakan MIDC is spread around 5,000 hectares hosts more than 750 Industries.
Water  Water supply to Chakan is sourced from the 80 MLD Water Treatment Plant (WTP) by MIDC. MIDC also has a permanent water supply scheme with reserved water storage in the Andra dam.  
Power  A 12.5 MVA substation operated by MSEB supplies electricity to the Chakan region. In December 2023, MSEDCL further strengthened the local power infrastructure by commissioning two new electricity switching stations in Chakan MIDC. These additions aim to improve power supply reliability for over 3,850 industrial, commercial, and residential consumers by redistributing loads from overloaded feeders and enhancing overall service quality.
FireMIDC Fire Station situated in Nighoje, along the Talawade-Chakan Road managed by MIDC is responsible for firefighting and emergency services in the industrial zones of Chakan.  
Pollution NormsChakan is a significant industrial hub with stringent pollution control regulations enforced by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB). All kinds of industries (except Chemical) are allowed in Chakan Industrial Area. MIDC insist for Zero Discharge to set up any industry.
