Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), a project of the government of Maharashtra has set up many Industrial Park across Maharashtra to cater the requirement of National & International clients. Maharashtra is a preferred production hub due to availability of low cost labour, availability of consumer market & high rate of growth. Patalganga Industrial Area  is one of the Developed Industrial Estates listed under one of the 13 chemical Industrial Areas developed by MIDC near Karjat and Panvel in Raigad district. Patalganga is also known as ‘Rasayani’. Existence of Reliance, Hyundai Mobis, Cipla, Petronas, Camlin etc. justify the fact of Patalganga as one of the preferred Industrial zones of MIDC. MIDC Patalganga has three divisions:
  • Old Patalganga.
  • Additional Patalganga.
  • Patalganga – Borivali: New land being acquired by the MIDC.

Particular Details
Water Water Supply Scheme of 54 MLD and 72 MLD available in industrial area. The current water requirement is 20 MLD. Sufficient water available to the existing and new industries.
Power MSEB has two substations of capacity 220 KVA and 100 KVA. Sufficient power available to the existing and new industries.
Road MIDC Industrial area has sufficiently wide roads to facilitate the container movement
Manpower Semi-Skilled & Unskilled manpower is easily available in Patalganga. Managerial and Senior managerial people travel from Panvel / Kharghar.
Disposition of Waste Liquid Effluent: CEPT with the capacity of 15MLD available in Old Patalganga. Addl Patalganga does not have a CETP as on date. The new industries are allowed only with zero discharge permission.

Air Emission: Scrubbers, Wet Scrubbers, Dust collectors and stacks of sufficient height is must for the Industries emitting gaseous waste.

Solid Effluent: Mumbai Waste Management (MWM) dispose the waste at village Chal, Tal- Panvel, District-Raigad.

Telecommunication Facility and Broadband Available through MTNL, Tata Telecommunication, Vodafone, Jio, Reliance Infocom.
Residential Facilities Good and cheap residential accommodation is available in Patalganga for the labours and clerical staff.  2 big residential projects namely India Bulls and Hiranandani coming up within 12 to 14 Kms. Distance which would provide accommodation to the Senior management people.. Kharghar and Panvel are big residential cities within 25 Kms range.
